Cerasus: Craft Beer and Aged Hams (located close to Nagoya Station)

Name:  Cerasus (craft beer and aged ham brewpub)

Selection of Craft Beer:  various European and American craft beers
Price of Craft Beer:  550 yen to 900 yen (per glass/pint)
900 yen to 1100 yen (per bottle)

Review:  Cerasus is a new venture from the people who brought you 23 Craft Beerz, Cafe Lembeek, and Bier Markt.  The recently opened restaurant specializes in craft beer, aged hams, and handmade pizzas.  The craft beers are quite reasonably priced.  European beers make up the majority of the drink list.  There are some American beers on offer.  Besides beer, they have a small decent wine program.  The food program matches well with the drink list.  They have a selection of aged hams from mainly Europe and one from Japan.  Plus, they have handmade pizzas for a reasonable price.  The service is impeccable.  The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of their offerings.  The decor is modern and comforting.  It feels like a brewpub that you would find in the West.  If you are near Nagoya Station or the Nagoya International Center, check out Cerasus for aged ham and craft beer.
